Today we celebrated Owairaka schools 90th birthday. We had a very special ceremony to congrats Owairaka for the 90th time. The ceremony was held on the Kauri netball courts. The whole school had to sing the school waiata. In 1930 the school was called Richardson road school. When the school was made there was 186 students as time past by the school grew bigger, stronger and more of a better learning school. To celebrate the 90th birthday and art exhibition so every single person gets yummy delicious peice of  CAKE!  and the people that cut the cakes was  Mushdah who is the oldest student Jamie the youngest student and Neta the oldest and longest teacher in Owairaka school. Sara became a artist when she became a fomer student  in Owairaka primary school included her father who was a fomer student too, She was also like every kid because she liked picking up materiel, pebbles, sticks and scooping up mud and clay at the back of the cabins. Sara was also the person who cut the ribbon to the art exhibition in the hall, pohotakawa room and the maggary room.
