  1. Mālō e Lelei Mahina,

Kei te pai on completing another 3 activities today on your blog post. I really like how you have been creating slideshows for your activities and clearly labeling each one. I also like that you also put the same amount of effort into each and every one of your activities. Keep up the hard mahi!

I enjoyed reading your Nelson Mandela Journal entry today. You have written it with great detail and have done a great job of writing from his perspective.

I also really enjoyed reading about the 3 things you learned about the school strikes for climate. Please if you could edit this post as the activity asks you to share on your post a picture of something you/ your family does a home to look after the environment - you also need to add a picture too.

Lastly, thank you for sharing about the problem that Rosa Parks faced. I think she was extremely brave and strong for what she did and this caused a major shift during this time, she really made history! Rosa Parks was such a brave woman for doing what she did, If she was alive, what is one question you would ask her?

Please don’t forget to check your second activity and update this to get full points for that activity, ka pai te ra.

    Kueni :)

  2. Hello Mahina,
It seems you have found a much more efficient way of doing the activities. This is gonna be a long comment. Activity one. I really like how you explained everything including the feeling. Activity two. Something I liked in activity two was that you included what is our biggest threat. Activity three. I really like how you added some extra information and a picture. Good job. I actually have a diary for 2020. Sometimes I skip writing in it. Maybe next time you could add some back story to activity on and two. Overall, this is a phenomenal blog post! Keep up the astonishing work!

  3. Talofa Mahina,

Thank you for completing all of the activities for week two, day two! I enjoyed reading what you learnt from the School Strike for Climate Australia website. Was there any information that was new to you, or did you know most of it already?

What are some things that you and your family are doing around home to help the environment? You can just post in the comments below if you’d like to. I am trying to use less plastic so am buying things from bulk bins instead of in packaging, and am trying to reduce the amount of red meat I eat too :) it’s tricky but it’s so worth it. As you said in your post, there is no planet B!

Did you attend the Climate Strike Protest in Auckland last year?If you didn’t you might be interested in reading about it here:

Thats a cool story of the Jail. I feel how the person feels in Jail. I 100% agree that Jail has yucky food! But thats the only thing that they have to eat. I very like that you made a slide to do this activity. Maybe next time you should add some facts of both activities. Otherwise, great blog post!
